Some companies claim to offer guarantees on felt roofs, but simply pass on the manufacturer’s guarantee against product defects.
Arron Roofing provides customers and clients with an additional written guarantee on it’s workmanship, so as long as the roof has not been subject to trafficking and has been maintained as per our instructions, you’ll have a worry-free roof for at least ten years. That’s in addition the the manufacturer’s guarantee, which is always subject to the product being installed correctly in any case.

1. This Guarantee is issued pursuant to the standard terms and conditions of the above contract by ARRON ROOFING hereinafter referred to as THE GUARANTOR, in respect of works carried out by THE GUARANTOR’S operatives.
2. THE GUARANTOR hereby GUARANTEES for a period of 10 years from the date of completion of the works on the said property, that in the event of ingress of water into the property through the roof, THE GUARANTOR will, upon production of this Certificate and the client’s copy of the original Contract, inspect at a mutually convenient time, and if necessary repair or replace the felt covering to the roof, or part thereof, without further charge.
3. This Guarantee does not apply to ingress of water into the property as a result of any of the following:-
(a) fallen or defective lead flashings (where they exist).
(b) damage caused by excessive load being placed upon the felt roof through human traffic or otherwise.
(c) faulty or defective materials (guaranteed separately by manufacturer).
(d) any inherent defect in the existing roof prior to the re-felting by THE GUARANTORS in accordance with the Contract.
(e) failure to maintain internal pipework or downpipes.
(f) failure to maintain the roof in accordance with THE GUARANTORS instructions.
(g) any structural defect in the building causing movement in the substrate.
4. This Guarantee applies to installations to flat roofs only, and covers the re-felting of complete roofs and not works carried out by THE GUARANTOR by nature of a repair.
In the event of any claim being made against THE GUARANTORS under this Guarantee, they or their authorised agents are to have free access to the property in order to inspect.
5. Nothing contained in the terms of this Guarantee shall be construed as depriving either the person or persons claiming benefit hereunder, or THE GUARANTOR of their respective rights under common law.
6. In the event of a claim under this Guarantee being upheld THE GUARANTORS will be responsible for the re-felting or otherwise of the affected area but not for any damages or losses as a result of water penetration.
7. This guarantee is transferable to future owners. An administration charge of £75.00 will be payable.
